JAMES MEYERS
Pastor James was called out of a career in theater and film performance in 1985 to lead a life set-apart and in service to the Lord Jesus Christ. In 1991 he first attended Christian Bible Fellowship (then known as Vineyard of Christ) and felt instantly at home with this group of people who dearly love the Lord Jesus Christ. In 1995 he was ordained as an Assistant Pastor and served in that capacity for 16 years, with a focus on developing ministries to meet the full needs of the congregation. James continues to use whatever talents, knowledge, and zest for learning which the Lord has gifted him. In 2012 Pastor James accepted the position of Senior Pastor. The hallmark of his ministry has been the love and care of the flock, being approachable as a friend and Counselor, and an unwavering reliance on the Biblical text for theology based on the faithful exposition of the Word of God. His wife, Janice and his adult children, James Joel and Hannah have served their church family along with James in various capacities.
